(8) Acceptable use
The use of a crawler to extract data from a website may be done legally in relevant business relations. Under certain circumstances and in some specific jurisdictions, crawling may be in conflict with applicable regulation or in violation of the particular terms of service of the crawled site. Therefore, prior to engaging in crawling activities of any sort, you should consult with a lawyer authorized to provide legal advice in your particular area, and carefully read the applicable terms of service.
(9) Pricing
Our pricing varies by product and service type, including but not limited to the Crawling API, Crawler, Smart AI Proxy, and Cloud Storage. Pricing is determined based on usage volume, subscription terms, and other factors applicable to each individual service.
(a) Usage-based pricing (Crawling API and Crawler)
The Crawling API and Crawler operate on a usage-based pricing model. Charges are applied based on actual usage, including but not limited to request volume and domain complexity.
Domain complexity
For the Crawling API and Crawler, domain complexity forms a key pricing component. Domains are classified according to technical factors such as access restrictions, anti-bot protections, server load requirements, and other resource considerations. Domain complexity classifications may change over time without prior notice, and we reserve the right to adjust pricing in line with such changes.
(b) Subscription-based pricing (Smart AI Proxy and Cloud Storage)
The Smart AI Proxy and Cloud Storage operate on a subscription basis. Subscription fees are charged in advance according to the selected plan and billing cycle. Changes to subscription pricing, including periodic updates or promotional offers, may occur and will be communicated through our standard update channels or reflected on the website.
(c) General pricing terms
- Pricing adjustments may occur due to changes in product features, service levels, operational costs, or domain complexities (where applicable).
- Promotional pricing may be offered at our sole discretion and can be amended or withdrawn without prior notice.
- Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all prices exclude applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by relevant authorities.
- Pricing applicable at the point of purchase or service consumption shall apply to that transaction; future transactions may reflect updated rates.
- For usage-based products, final charges are determined by the actual consumption recorded on our systems; for subscription products, charges are determined by the selected subscription tier and duration.
(d) No obligation to maintain pricing
We are under no obligation to maintain historical pricing or extend previous rates or promotions to future transactions, renewals, or subscriptions.
(10) Refund policy
Given the nature of digital content, and as the payment is made after product consumption, we will only be able to offer a full refund if the service was not given accordingly, this might happen in case of long service interruption where your requests will reach our servers, but the response will never come back. Those cases stay marked in our database so we can offer a full refund for that unconsumed content. We don't have a long-term contract, so you are free to stop using the service whenever you need.
(11) Restricted access
Access to certain areas of our website is restricted. We reserve the right to restrict access to other areas of our website, or indeed our whole website, at our discretion.
